Expansion and maintenance of the production facilities in Kaluga — at its Kaluga automotive production site, Continental is investing in expanding facilities that mainly produce engine control units, but also components for fuel supply and injection systems. On this project, ELCON was entrusted with wide-ranging tasks in construction management, technical servicing, maintenance, repair and renewal.

Scope of work: On this project, in addition to the works to be carried out in the individual trades, ELCON took on construction management for all building measures.
The following services were carried out:
- turnkey services for all of the areas listed
- construction management for all building measures,
e.g. windows, doors, painting, wall works.

Particular challenges: Installing the cleanroom workstations and treating the water for circuit board production call for specialist knowledge and specialist equipment.
